I started to think about the concept of love and how everyday consumption might have had an impact on our capability to actually love. I was asking myself what happens to the feelings we experience and if they could be just momentary states of mind, passing by without a trace or if they could be actually something we all collect and keep track of? Even the simplest of gestures, such as blowing one’s nose, shows that we do not even notice how quickly we satisfy our needs and bin the products. Preferring a paper handkerchief over a fabric one. This could have an impact on not wanting to deal with all the snot and unpleasant realities and has possibly also decreased the chance of true love, with all the care and patience.
